Ann Nichols (1754-1848) He moved with his brothers to that area that became Maury County, Tennessee, and later to what became Wayne County, Tennessee. William Burns founded the town of Waynesboro in 1821, and the county seat was moved there in 1823. He served in the Tennessee House of Representatives, 1821-1823. He died between 1832 and 1838, and his wife was still residing in Wayne County in 1850. They had three sons and five daughters |
