  • Marriage: Paul Biffell [sic] and Danl Little were bondsmen. Rowan Co., N.C. Book of Marriages, 1753-1868 by Brent H. Holcomb.
  • 1800 U.S. Census, Buncombe County, Morgan District, North Carolina, M32-29, p. 162 has a Martin Buff who may be the son of Martin Biffle. He is listed with Males: -10=1; 10-15=1; 16-25=1; 45+=2. Females: -10=2; 16-25=1; 26-44=1. Does anyone have a opinion? Martin Buff is also found in 1820, so may be a different individaul after all.
