Appointed 2d Sergeant May 14, 1863. Captured at Gettysburg, Pa. July 1, 1863. Paroled at Point Lookout, Md. for exchange October 11, 1864. Received at Boulware & Cox's Wharves, James River, Va., October 15, 1864. Admitted to Jackson Hospital at Richmond, Va. October 16, 1864, and furloughed for 60 days November 6, 1864. No later record.
