| I'm not sure if Luther belongs to this family. In the 1900 census, he is listed as a brother-in-law in the family of James and Mellisa Gazaway. His mother died in April 1881, maybe at the time of his birth (May 1881 may be an approximation). A Luther Mitches is listed as being born May 1, 1880 (dead at 1930).
